One Year of Happiness with My Love
Today is my and Brett's one year anniversary! It is amazing that is has already been a year. It has been a year of learning and growing, but more than anything it has been a year of complete happiness. Brett is an absolutely amazing husband. I am so lucky to have found someone as carring and understanding as him. I feel fortunate to be sealed for eternity to such a wonderful man.
I was in charge of planning our anniversary since Brett was in charge of Valentine's this year. I decided to take him to the Coeur d' Alene resort. We go engaged on the boardwalk there, so I thought it would be a nice trip down memory lane. The room was amazing and the night was great. We took a walk on the boardwalk then went in for a gooey. In the morning we took a dip in the pool. We were supposed to go skiing on Saturday, but it was rainy up on the mountain so we decided to hold off for another weekend. Here are a couple pics from our anniversary weekend.

get a good pic, but you can't see much.
This is the top of our wedding cake. Yes we saved it to eat on our one year, is that corny? It didn't taste too bad, but I only took one bite. Brett really liked it. Sarah, you will be happy to know he said it was the moisest cake he has ever had.
Opening presents. He got me the second book in the twilight series, a wonderful gift.
I go Brett a couple play station games (I hope I don't regret this)
and then I made him a book off of Picaboo.

Happy Birthday To Me
Well, yesterday on March 9 I turned 25!!!! I know, pretty exciting. It was for me anyway. I think that birthdays are a really big deal. It is the one day of the year that you get to celebrate yourself and the day gets to be all about you. I think everyone needs that every once in a while. Unfortunately, I married someone who thinks that birthdays are just another day of the year, nothing special. Thank goodness he is such a good husband and likes to please me, even though I knows it kills him to make a big deal out of my birthday. I appreciate everything that he does to make me happy. So let me tell you about my fabulous birthday weekend. On Sunday night we got to go over to Coeur d' Alene to hang out with my family. This is what makes me happiest. It was a great way to celebrate my birthday. My parents gave me a bike for my birthday, which I love. I have wanted a bike for a while for a couple reason. In the summer time I would rather ride my bike around to do stuff than drive my car. Also, Makenna loves going on bike rides and when I go with her I have to ride Brett's. This will be nice because now we can go on family bike rides! So thank you mom and dad for the bike.
On Monday it was basically just another day of work. Except I did get a lot of birthday hugs from my little Kindergarteners. After work we went to Makenna's basketball game and then rushed over to dinner with my friends. It is always good to see my girlfiriends. I get so busy that I rarely get to see them any more, so I always enjoy the times we do get to spend together. Then we went up to Beth and Wes' house for cake and ice cream. They had quite the cake waiting for me. And of course to top off the night I went home with my husband and watched the latest episode of 24 (my new favorite show). Oh, and my wonderful husdand suprised me with a with a new pot and pan set from Costco. I know this doesn't sound to glamorous, but I can not tell you how happy it made me. They are so beautiful that I thought about putting pictures of them on, but then I thought that might bore people.
Anyway, it was a great couple of days of birthday celebrations. Thank you to everyone for celebrating with me!

Look at how handsome my husband is. I just love him so much and feel so fortunate to have him in my life. This was a Beth's house.

Dissapointment After Dissapointment
I guess all I can say is, "What was Jason thinking?" What a whirlwind of emotions we went through last night. But it did not end on a good feeling. I guess Jason and Molly deserve each other, because anyone who dumps a girl like Melissa on television and tells her he is going to try to hook up with a another girl right after does not deserve her! I do have to say, I think that Melissa handled herself really well last night. Every time she said something to Jason I was like, "Yes, you go girl." I think that she will have a great time in no time. Brett says that he feels bad for Jason, because he thinks he can relate to him in some way. However, I think that he needs to try to figure out himself before he start tellings different girls that he is going to love them forever. Anyway, I guess we will see how long this relationship lasts.
