Back to the Blogging World

I have not posted for quite a while and I feel bad. So I will catch everyone up on what has been going on since July.

At the end of the summer we had the delight of having Madyson  move in with us for a while.  It has been an adjustment for all, but I am so grateful that she is here and the fun and example that she brings to our family.  Madyson and the girls are just like sisters.  Sometimes they love each other and sometimes they can't stand each other.  But overall I think it has been a good experience for everyone

On August 20th this adorable little boy turned 1 year old!  I can't even begin to explain how obsessed I am with my child.  I'm not going to lie, he wasn't my favorite person the first year of his life.  I had a hard time adjusting to being a stay at home mom with a child that didn't sleep and cried all the time.  But now he is like the light of my life.  I LOVE watching him learn and laugh and play.  I love spending my days with him.

This wonderful girl turned 15 on Sept. 11th.  She is now a freshman in high school.  It is completely weird that I am a step mother to a high schooler since my high school days didn't seem that long ago.  But she is loving her expereince at North Central.

Makenna is now a 7th grader and decided to do cross country for the first time.  She put a lot of pressure on herself to measure up to her dad, but she also liked it a lot and did a great job for her first year.  She is a straight A student and the BEST help around the house.  She truly makes being a step mother easy because she always wants to please!

Madyson is also in 7th grade and she couldn't wait to play softball.  She did a great job.  She always got on base every time she went up to bat.  She is also enjoying school and making lots of friends.

Since school has started I have had a lot more time to have play dates and do some fun stuff with Jaxon.  We visited a couple of pumpkin farms and had a blast.  It is always fun to get together with friends and family in fun locations.

In October my very besy friends, Beth and Jen, and I decided to run a half marathon.  I lived with these girls for 4 years in college and since we are married and each have a cute baby boy.  So it was so much fun to get together with them for this event.  I have run a marathon before when I was single and had a ton of time to train for it.  But now with 4 kids at home most of the time it made it a lot harder to train for a race.  Thank goodness we made it through it, and really only had to stop and stretch our legs a couple of times.  It was a hard reminder that our bodies are just getting old :(

Beautiful Kyra!  Her first homecoming dance was this October and she went with a group of friends.  She looked absoltuley gorgeous and all the girls had a great time.  I don't think she did much dancing, but I guess it is all about the experience of getting ready with friends and going out to dinner.

Alright, hopefully I can be more consistent with my updating!

Fun in the Sun

Today my mom and sister, Kimberly, came into Spokane to bring the boys to a pool.  Everyone had so much fun.  Brayden and Jaxon are definitely  water babies.  They didn't want to get out of the water.

Jaxon has also been enjoying our little kitty pool in our backyard.  He would just be happy if I kept him in water all day.

Also, I just wanted to share two cute pictures of Jaxon I took this week.  My mom let me borrow her camera and I had a lot of fun taking as many pictures of Jaxon as I could.

Just Cute Pictures of Jaxon

I just love this kid so much!

This is my favorite.  Love that smile.

Happy Independence Day

I had such a wonderful 4th of July.  It was the most relaxing day, just hanging out with my family and eating lots of yummy food.  We all gathered at my Aunt Cheryl's house, layed out in her back yard. swam a little in the pool and ate some delicious bbq.  Hanging out with my family is the thing that makes me the absolute happiest.  I love them!

Me and my niece, Madyson

Jaxon enjoying corn on the cob, well at least the cob part.  He couldn't get any corn.

Does he not look like the cutest little old man!!
 He sure loves his bbq

After spending time with my family I took my nieces home with me.  We lit of some fireworks in our back yard, then went downtown for the real show.

Way to go Makenna

This week Makenna graduated from 6th grade!  I can't believe this little doll is going into middle school.  It will be quite the eye opener for her.  But this rockstar is just amazing.  She got the presidential award for academics, then she got the Mark Riepen award.  This is only given to one girl and one boy chosen for having good leadership, good attitude, good character, good grades, pretty much just overall being a great student.  We couldn't be more proud of her.

Just a couple pictures capturing her being rewarded for being so awesome.

After the graduation just taking some pics with her.

We love you Makenna!  Good job!

Fun in the Arizona Sun

Last week Brett, Jaxon, and I went down Mesa, AZ to for Brett's younger brother's wedding.  We had so much fun with the Fromm family.  We all stayed in a rental house with a great backyard living area.  So we spent a lot of time in the pool and eating outside.

The first night we were there we went to their rehersal dinner.

The next day was the wedding.  This is Jaxon getting ready to go to the temple.  This is the first temple he has been to!

The happy couple coming out!  The sealing was AMAZING.  This was only my second sealing I have been to, but it was absolutely wonderful.

Later that day we headed over to the reception area.  It was very beautiful, but also very hot!  We spent a lot of time taking pictures.

We love Jimmy! We are going to miss him staying at our house all the time now.

Look at these studs!  Four generations of Fromm boys

                                                     All the Fromm syblings

All the boys that were close to Jimmy.  The two guys on the ends are friends.

This is the last day we were in Mesa.  Just enjoying the house.

Jaxon has become quite the frequent flyer.  Thank goodness he does such a good job on the plane!

What A Great Weekend

This very wonderful weekend started with me doing my favorite thing, hanging out with my family.  We had a wonderful little baby come into our life this weekend, Fynnlee Rae Cunningham.  Whitney delivered her early Saturday morning and we all couldn't be more thrilled.  I can't wait to go spend more time with her.

The night before Whitney delivered, we were all hanging out at my mom's house and decided to go fill up on some yummy ice cream.  Jaxon of course loved that.

Then the boys had to clean up after their messy snack.

After I got to spend some time with Fynnlee I raced up to me my family in Leavenworth.  This is the longest car ride I have done with Jaxon all by myself and he did wonderful.

Three generations of Fromm men talking about the cows.  I thought it was a cute picture.

Our tired Jaxon after the 4 hour car ride.

We have introduced Jaxon to the trampoline and he LOVES it.  Everytime we go out to our backyard he will get so excited because he sees it.

Brett took him on a little ride on  the 4 wheeler.

Our Sunday dinner on the back porch.  It was wonderful

This is all of Brett's family minus Jimmy.  It was good to see everyone.

Sunday night we took a drive up the mountains to just walk around.  The girls loved riding in the back.

This is a little camp site the Fromm family made up in the mountains.  It was so cute.

Gloria and Makenna went on a 5 1/2 mile hike.  These two love spending time together.  Makenna learned 15 different wild flowers on the hike.

Monday we went to a great Memorial service.  It was so cool to see the whole cemetery just lined with so many flowers.  It was also wonderful because we got to visit our dear Annabelle.  It's always fun picking flowers out of Gloria's garden and visiting our sweet daughter.

I just loved everything about our weekend.  And now I'm excited to go spend time with Fynnlee!
