Jaxon at 7 Months

Here are some pictures of Jaxon starting at 2 months. Now he is 7 months and I feel like he is learning so much! He loves to stand all the time. I think he is going to walk before he crawls. He loves to babble. He says mom and dad, but we are pretty sure he doesn't actually know what he is saying when he does get it out of his mouth. He can feed himself with some foods. He has two teeth on the bottom. He is still not a good sleeper, but I've just decided it's God's way of teaching me how to have patience. I love this cute guys so much and have a ton of fun with him every day!

Playing Catch Up

I have been a horrible blogger lately. We have been doing a lot of playing with friends, going on walks, hanging out with my family, celebrating my birthday, and going to parks. Here are a couple pictures of the last couple months.

Four Years of Wedded Bliss

Yes, that's what it's been for me and Brett the past four years. I love him so much and constatnly find myself wondering how I got so lucky to have married such an amazing man. There are so many things I love about my wonderful husband, but I will just list a few.

• How he constantly reminds me that I am a wonderful mother and that I am doing a great job.
• How he cares so much about the people in our church and spends most of his free time doing church service. (OK sometimes I complain that he is gone too much, but I do love the quality in him that he likes to serve so much).
• He texts and calls me all through the day to let me know he's thinking about me.
• He is so thoughtful with his gifts.
• He randomly suprises me with a boquet of flowers for no reasons (my favorite).
• He is really funny.
• He works SO hard to provide for our family and is always striving to be better.
• He supports me is all of my decisions.
• His girls love him and look up to him so much.

I love you babe!

A Budding Pianist

Lately there is not a day that goes by that Jaxon and I don't spend spend some time on the piano. He loves pounding on the keys, and sometimes trying to eat them. Whenever I take him away from the piano he will turn and reach out his arms to it. I am glad he likes playing so much, I just hope it continues through the years.

Happy Valentine's Day

It is so nice to have a day to put that extra effort in to show love for those close to you. Today was a great day. Brett suprised me by coming home in the middle of the day with a beautiful boquet of flowers. I absolutely LOVE getting flowers. It is one of my favorite things! But I was in charge of valentines this year so I had a lot of work to do. We had the girls over tonight, so it was all about them. I made the girls and Brett a cute little scavenger hunt with candy valentines all around the house. Then I made each of them their favorite dinners and decorated the dining room with white lights, candles, and rose petals. We had romantic music playing through dinner and Brett and I waited on them through the whole thing. It was fun.

Since the girls were here tonight, Brett and I are celebrating Friday night. And yes I have big plans...can't wait!

Example 2: Brett LOVES Apple products. To him, a good date would be to go to the Apple store just to look around and play with stuff. So tonight I gave him this cute card.

I have also tried many delicious recipes from Pinterest. I have not been dissapointed yet. I am just excited to try out more fun stuff!
